Criticism :

This is the story of two searchers lost in time because of their machine, this is a pretext to make them live historical great events.

The 1st episode places them on board of the Titanic, a few hours before its sinking; this is a good episode with an original script. The only reproach we could do is the poor means used, as the film set has nothing to do with the real Titanic!

The story :

The Senator Leroy Clark’s plane is landing in the desert from where a car leads him to the ultra secret complex, hidden under the ground. He learns with scepticism that the researches realized thanks to millions of dollars have as an aim a trip through time, but the machine is still not in order. As he is asked an important budget advance to end the tests, the Senator refuses and threatens the complex to be finally closed if they can’t get convincing results in a very short time. As it becomes impossible to realize a demonstration before the imminent limit date, Tony Newman decides to test the machine personally and secretly and is catapulted on the day of the 14th April 1912 on board of the Titanic! Because he wants to explain Captain Smith that the Titanic is about to sink, he is supposed to be a fool and he is shot up into a cabin. As he finally understands the situation, the Senator resigns himself to cooperate with the team to help Tony to get out of this bad adventure. Douglas Phillips decides then to save his friend with a newspaper announcing the disaster, in order to convince the Captain to change course…
